Who We Are
Our website address is: https://BridgeWorkIT.net.
BridgeWork IT is a nonprofit organization committed to protecting your privacy and handling your information responsibly.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the information shown in the comment form as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user-agent string to help prevent spam.
An anonymized hash of your email address may be sent to the Gravatar service to check whether you use it. Their privacy policy is available at https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment is approved, your profile image (if any) is visible to the public within the context of the comment.
Media Uploads
If you upload images to the website, please avoid including images that contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors may be able to download and extract location data from images displayed on the website.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site, you may choose to save your name, email address, and website in cookies. These exist for your convenience and last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we set a temporary cookie to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.
When you log in, several cookies are created to save your login details and screen display preferences. Login cookies last for two days, and display-option cookies last for one year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will remain active for two weeks. When you log out of your account, the login cookies are removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie is saved in your browser that stores the post ID of the article you edited. This cookie contains no personal data and expires after one day.
Embedded Content From Other Websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (such as videos, images, or articles). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as it would if you visited the originating website directly.
These external sites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with their content, including tracking your interaction if you have an account and are logged in to those sites.
Who We Share Your Data With
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email for security purposes.
How Long We Retain Your Data
Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely. This allows us to recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them for review.
If users create accounts on our website (if applicable), we store the personal information provided in their profile. Users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time, except for their username. Website administrators can also access and edit this information.
Your Rights Over Your Data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you may request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have submitted to us. You may also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include data we are required to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where Your Data Is Sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam-detection service.
